About Fête

We are better as a community.

Fête is Atlanta’s event community: one connected place for the people planning meaningful moments and the professionals, venues and resources that make them possible.

2022The first Fête vision begins

One community · two equal doors

One event community. Built to understand both sides.

Fête connects the people planning meaningful events with the professionals who make them possible—then surrounds both with venue intelligence, useful resources and human context.

An Atlanta family seeing their finished celebration.

For clients

Less searching. More understanding.

Begin with a visual, living event brief. Fête helps turn inspiration into useful context, brings visual ambition and investment into the same conversation, explains why each professional or team fits and keeps the pieces connected.

  • Guided discovery instead of a cold inquiry form
  • Preliminary planning guidance before proposals begin
  • Automated, explained Fête Fits—not a ranking of bids
  • Verified professionals eligible for client recommendations
  • One path through consultations, team building and planning

For professionals

More than leads. A professional home.

Build a working reputation, trusted relationships and practical support—alongside access to qualified opportunities, collaborators and shared industry knowledge.

  • A reviewed membership community, not open self-listing
  • Fête Match opportunities built from real client context
  • Teams, Circle, Overflow and SOS support
  • Venue intelligence, shared resources and long-term growth

Practical resources—from printing and kitchens to storage, transportation and production support.

Fête is not another giant directory or quote auction. It is a curated ecosystem built around fit, context, relationships and accountability.

Our north star ↗

Our mission

To make Atlanta’s event economy more trusted, connected and resourced.

We help clients reach the right people with more confidence—and help event professionals build stronger businesses, teams and working relationships without having to carry every challenge alone.

Our vision

Become Atlanta’s first natural check.

When someone needs a trusted professional, a capable collaborator, venue knowledge, crew support or an execution resource, Fête should be the place they think to look first.

Atlanta at blue hour, alive with culture, hospitality and celebration.
Atlanta is not only where Fête launches. It is the event community Fête is accountable to.
01

Trust

Clear standards, accountable relationships and recommendations clients can understand.

02

Community

Real working relationships—not a feed full of strangers competing for attention.

03

Growth

Better visibility, stronger businesses and room for emerging talent to develop well.

04

Access

Local intelligence, venues, people, tools and resources made easier to reach.

05

Celebration

The shared reason behind every brief, introduction, collaboration and build.

Why clients need Fête

The client problem is not a lack of options. It is a lack of context.

Atlanta clients can find thousands of images and businesses. The harder work is translating a feeling into a viable event, understanding who belongs on the team and knowing what good fit looks like before committing.

One host · one event · many connected decisions

She knows how the day should feel. She should not need to become an event-industry expert to build it.

With FêteDiscover → planning compass → explained Fits → connected team
01

Inspiration is not yet a plan

Saved images can show a feeling without revealing what that scale of venue, design, labor, rentals or production may require.

02

Every inquiry starts over

A host repeats the same story to planners, venues and professionals—and receives answers that are hard to compare.

03

A portfolio cannot explain fit

Beautiful work does not reveal availability, working range, collaboration history or whether this team fits this event.

04

Separate vendors are not a team

A collection of good professionals still needs clear roles, shared context and a coordinated path forward.

Translate

Visual inspiration becomes scope.

Fête asks whether the goal is a few focused moments, a layered experience or an immersive environment—then carries that context forward.

Reconcile

Vision meets investment early.

A preliminary planning band identifies the event’s major cost drivers before a client spends weeks requesting proposals that cannot support the vision.

Match

Fit is structured and explained.

Verified eligibility comes first. Fête Fit then weighs capability, investment, aesthetic, experience, working style, collaboration and logistics—routing only exceptions to Operations.

Atlanta celebration demand · beyond weddings

Atlanta is not celebrating just one kind of milestone.

Search behavior makes the wider private-event market visible: families are actively looking for the places, people and visual elements behind showers, children’s parties and experiential celebrations.

The Atlanta event market · through the client door

A growing region creates more reasons to gather—and more complexity around who, where and how.

These figures describe the scale around the opportunity. Fête’s conclusion is an interpretation: a market this active needs a more human way to connect demand, talent, spaces and local knowledge.

Regional scale explains the opportunity; local search behavior makes the occasions visible. Weddings are only one part of the picture. Birthdays, showers, anniversaries, graduations, cultural milestones, nonprofit gatherings, brand experiences and private dinners all move through the same fragmented market.

How Fête came to be · professional research

The building came first. Listening changed the order.

The original Fête vision was physical: a coworking and resource hub created specifically for Atlanta’s event industry. But before asking the community to fit inside a building, Fête asked what its professionals actually needed.

≈200Atlanta event entrepreneurs surveyed

The research surfaced a network of needs that no single storefront, social platform or vendor directory could solve alone.

A physical home

Fête began as a vision for a shared Atlanta home where event professionals could work, learn, store, build and grow together.

2022–23

Listen before building

Research with roughly 200 Atlanta event entrepreneurs made the industry’s practical needs—and its appetite for community—visible.

Now

Trust before walls

The digital-first platform builds relationships, standards, local knowledge and real demand before a permanent facility is created.

Future

The hub the community proves it needs

Member behavior, client needs and working data will shape a future Fête House grounded in how Atlanta actually celebrates.

The founder

Design is the visible layer. Infrastructure is the lasting one.

From creating celebrations to building the infrastructure behind them.

Kennay is the founder and creative director of Imagine THAT Event Designs, an Atlanta event-design company known for immersive environments, milestone celebrations and imaginative children’s experiences. Her work has required far more than making a room beautiful: it has meant finding the right collaborators, solving production problems, sourcing unfamiliar resources, understanding venues and building reliable systems around creative work.

Fête grew from that lived experience. Kennay saw talented entrepreneurs repeatedly trying to solve the same problems alone—and clients trying to judge the right professional from a grid of pretty photos. She imagined a community where good work could be recognized, relationships could compound and access did not depend entirely on who someone already knew.

The idea at the centerFête is the community Kennay kept wishing existed every time a celebration needed the right person, a trusted answer or one more pair of capable hands.

The future: Fête House

Digital first. Physical when the community is ready.

A note to Atlanta’s event community

The hope for this community

That good people doing good work no longer have to build alone.

That clients feel cared for before they ever choose a vendor—and can make decisions with context instead of guesswork.

That professionals can be known for how they work, not only how loudly they market—and find collaborators they can trust.

That emerging talent can grow near established talent, knowledge can circulate and opportunity can reach beyond familiar circles.

That Atlanta’s celebration industry becomes stronger because its relationships, resources and standards are stronger.

The standard · not the sales pitch

The promise behind the platform

Trust should be earned—and explained.

The Fête Standard is the accountability layer beneath the community. Membership creates access to the professional community; it does not automatically make someone Fête Verified or eligible to appear in client recommendations.

The directory is not the product. Trust is.

01

Reviewed membership

Business practices, portfolio, reputation and collaboration readiness are considered before entry.

02

Separate verification

Fête Verified is an earned, current status tied to the Fête Standard—not a badge purchased with dues.

03

Event-specific fit

Automated Fête Fit weighs capability, investment, aesthetic, experience, working style, collaboration and logistics—then explains the recommendation.

Fête SOS · four layers of continuityProfessional SOSClient replacement FitQualified reservesOptional paid standby
